Yicheng Jiang

About me

Researching how robots perceive, reason, and act in the physical world.

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at HKUST, supervised by Prof. Qiming Shao. My research lies at the intersection of embodied AI, 3D/4D visual representation, and robot learning, with an emphasis on efficient and structured representations for robotic manipulation.

Before my doctoral study, I received my B.Eng. in Computer Engineering with a minor in Robotics from HKUST, graduating with First Class Honors. I enjoy connecting learning algorithms with real machines through embedded systems, robot control, PCB design, and mechanical design.
